NQoES — Market-Calibrated Earnings Quality Diagnostic
Assess earnings quality, resilience and value creation potential.
The NQoES tool converts financial and customer inputs into a structured earnings quality score, helping management teams, investors and advisers identify where earnings are strong, where risk sits in the model, and which areas should be prioritised to improve resilience, predictability and value.
How it works
The model follows a simple structure: familiar operating inputs are converted into normalised metric scores, those metric scores roll into five drivers, and the driver outputs combine into a weighted NQoES result with greater emphasis on earnings strength and customer & revenue quality.
Inputs
P&L, cash flow, balance sheet and customer inputs are entered in a format that feels closer to a finance pack than a modelling tool.
Metric scoring
The tool calculates 18 underlying earnings quality metrics and converts each one onto a consistent 0–100 scoring range.
Driver and total score
Metric scores roll into five drivers and then into a total NQoES score, supported by commentary, charts and tracked snapshots.
What you get
The output is designed to be immediately usable in management, board, diligence and value creation discussions.
The five drivers of NQoES
Each driver captures a different dimension of earnings quality, with the final score weighted more heavily toward earnings strength and customer & revenue quality.
